Privacy Policy
Last updated July 7, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Chaos2Love Productions (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit projectextremis.com, contribute to Project Extremis, or contact us, and how we use it.
Who we are
Chaos2Love Productions produces Project Extremis, a feature film in development. The best way to reach us with a privacy question is by email at chaos2loveproductions@gmail.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. If you contribute through the site, you enter your name, email address, billing address, and payment card details into Stripe Checkout. Stripe processes and stores that payment information; we do not see or store your full card number on our servers. We receive a confirmation from Stripe with your name, email, contribution amount, and a Stripe transaction ID for our records.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability. The site does not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics, or advertising pixels.
How we use it
- Process contributions and send you a receipt.
- Respond to your inquiries.
- Keep the site online, secure, and functioning.
- Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
- Recognize supporters, when and only when you have expressly agreed to be recognized publicly. Recognition is otherwise at the Producer’s sole discretion and never automatic.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum information required with the following service providers, each acting on our behalf:
- Stripe, our payment processor, handles all card details and payment confirmations.
- Lovable, our website host, serves the site and stores basic server logs.
- Google (Gmail), our email provider, delivers and stores messages sent to and from our contact address.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not rent mailing lists, and we do not share your information with advertising partners.
How long we keep it
We keep contribution records for as long as needed to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations. We keep email correspondence only as long as needed to answer you and to maintain a reasonable history of the project.
Your rights
You can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing chaos2loveproductions@gmail.com. Residents of the European Union, the United Kingdom, and California have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA, including the right to request a copy of your data, to object to certain processing, and (in California) to know whether your information has been sold or shared (it has not).
We may need to keep some information after a deletion request in order to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations, and we will tell you if that applies.
Children
Project Extremis is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please email us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, and we rely on Stripe for payment security. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and, for material changes, note the change on the site.
